AT THE BOOK FAIR IN FRANKFURT :

It wasn't my best experience to see my own books at the Fair. The comissioned distributor who took the books with him didn't gave any of the books a specific order. My book was found very close to the children book "Bob the Pirate" and other irrelevant indeliberately made build up contexts, for this most serious book, it was amongst children books mostly. When we asked how this was possible we received first the remark of "is there a problem?", then were given the excuse that that the books were received in a random order. Clearly he didn't care. Our suggestive question was already received as a threat any how. When I had contacted him beforehand if a short signing session was possible he said that I was not allowed there longer as needed and gave me a list of rules. Already that introduction felt that nothing was very inviting, but I wanted to see how this was displayed any how. Anyhow, This was an "unforgettable" experience and a completely waste of a display. I hope the Book Fair in London will have a more serious visible place amongst the many other books and publishers. I strongly can't recommend this 3rd party called Combine Book Exhibit. I am almost sure nobody will even have noticed what was there truly on display.
